Resume writing tips before you start

• Keep it to one page if you have under five years of experience, and two pages at most for senior roles.
• Use reverse-chronological order: latest experience first.
• Start bullets with strong verbs (built, led, reduced, launched) and add numbers where they are true.
• Use the same date format throughout and check spelling twice.
• Run the ATS scan on your finished resume and fix issues before you apply.
